I came straight out of prison. Victory Mission was a home plan for me. I screwed up, and I know I need to continue working on my life.

It was during a recent class at Victory Mission the teacher asked everyone, “what are you afraid of?”

Man, my hand shot up. “I don't want to go back to prison,” I said.

I know I have so much to lose. I am have skills and I am ready to give back. I don’t want to brag, but I can fix anything car related. God has given me a fresh start. I’m ready for the next phase. I mean… I’m a grandfather.

I'm going to make church my new home away from home. I'm going to Schweitzer United Methodist Church. I look forward to getting my own place and continuing to get my life. I've learned what faith in God really is.

I’m so serious about making things right, I rode my bike to Monett one day. That’s a bike ride! I found out I had an outstanding warrant, and I went to pay it off. I had to make things right and do the right thing with the court. God is changing me.

I know I have so much to lose. I am have skills and I am ready to give back.
