help for men
We want to encourage lifelong Victory for those that we serve. The Restoration Program is a 12-18 month residential rehabilitation program designed to transform men’s lives through a holistic approach of developing spiritual, personal, relational, vocational, and financial areas of life.
“Thank you for being the easiest transitional housing facility to work with by far.” – Dena Bemboom, Institutional Parole Officer from Tipton Correctional Center
emergency men’s shelter
Victory’s Emergency Shelter allows men to stay for up to 30 days every six months. For the 30-day duration, residential program fees are waived through scholarship. We recognize employment is often the key to breaking the cycle of homelessness. During this time, we encourage men to pursue employment, and we equip them with resources to help them do so. We also encourage men to become involved with a local church and participate by doing chores and attending classes.
To ensure the highest quality of service delivery, individuals enrolled in the First30 program are entered into the state’s HMIS system. This system allows our case management staff to connect men at the shelter with other community services. For more information on the privacy and security policies associated with this system you may review this form.
transitional men’s shelter
Victory’s transitional shelter provides an affordable housing alternative to pay by the week hotels and substandard housing as men transition into a state of independence. Residential program fees are between $11 and $16 dollars.
help for women
The Women’s Restoration Program is a holistic long-term residential program addressing life-controlling issues. Victory Women seeks to partner with women on their journey toward positive life changes by pursuing a better understanding of self, healing from past trauma, healthy relationships with others, and increased stability and sufficiency. At Victory Mission we use a case management model focused on coaching, relationships building, skill strengthening, and connecting with community resources. Applications will be accepted by referrals from our partnering agencies. Please note that the application process may take up to two weeks.
Victory offers classes and group counseling sessions for women interested in Restoration. Please contact our Women’s Ministry Director for more information about the class schedule.
SingleMomzRock provides encouragement to a network of women through outreach services and occasional special events. We partner with programs and organizations in Southwest Missouri to raise awareness about the local resources available to single mothers and encourage them by sharing the love of Christ.
