Other Ways to Give

Planned Giving

Your thoughtful financial planning is beneficial to you and your family, and enables you to leave a lasting legacy to help those facing poverty and homelessness through the ministry of Victory Mission.

Planned gifts can take many forms. We look forward to help you explore your options as you consider making a long-lasting gift to us. If you have any questions, please call us at (417) 864-2200. Planned Giving opportunities include the following:

Each day, Victory Mission strives to make the world better by helping people find Victory and discover their life’s purpose. You can establish your legacy by supporting our efforts through your estate plan or will. By including us in your will, you can specify that some or all of your assets be given to us after your lifetime. When that time comes, the asset/assets you specify will pass to us, and your estate can take a charitable deduction for the amount of your bequest, reducing the estate taxes payable.

To include Victory Mission in your will, we should be named as “Victory Mission, a Missouri not-for-profit corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, and with the principal business address of P.O. Box 2884, Springfield, MO 65801.”

Our tax identification number is 13631683.

Please inform us if you add Victory Mission in your will so we can thank you appropriately for your commitment to our ministry.

Making property gifts offers an easy and tax-efficient way to make a lasting contribution to Victory Mission. You will help sustain our ministry, while avoiding capital gain tax and reducing federal income tax.

Name Victory Mission as a beneficiary in your life insurance policy and/or retirement accounts. This is a simple way to give that provides you with tax advantages as well.

A trust can help you manage your assets in a prudent and flexible way. It allows you to design a financial plan that meets your current needs and the needs of beneficiaries who survive you. With a trust, you can protect your assets, cut estate settlement costs and reduce taxes. Among the types of trusts are Living Trust, Testamentary Trust, Charitable Remainder Trust and Charitable Lead Trust.
