Other Ways to Give
Your thoughtful financial planning is beneficial to you and your family, and enables you to leave a lasting legacy to help those facing poverty and homelessness through the ministry of Victory Mission.
Planned gifts can take many forms. We look forward to help you explore your options as you consider making a long-lasting gift to us. If you have any questions, please call us at (417) 864-2226. Planned Giving opportunities include the following:
Each day, Victory Mission strives to make the world better by helping people find Victory and discover their life’s purpose. You can establish your legacy by supporting our efforts through your estate plan or will. By including us in your will, you can specify that some or all of your assets be given to us after your lifetime. When that time comes, the asset/assets you specify will pass to us, and your estate can take a charitable deduction for the amount of your bequest, reducing the estate taxes payable.
To include Victory Mission in your will, we should be named as “Victory Mission, a Missouri not-for-profit corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, and with the principal business address of P.O. Box 2884, Springfield, MO 65801.”
Our tax identification number is 13631683.
Please inform us if you add Victory Mission in your will so we can thank you appropriately for your commitment to our ministry.
Making property gifts offers an easy and tax-efficient way to make a lasting contribution to Victory Mission. You will help sustain our ministry, while avoiding capital gain tax and reducing federal income tax.
Name Victory Mission as a beneficiary in your life insurance policy and/or retirement accounts. This is a simple way to give that provides you with tax advantages as well.
A trust can help you manage your assets in a prudent and flexible way. It allows you to design a financial plan that meets your current needs and the needs of beneficiaries who survive you. With a trust, you can protect your assets, cut estate settlement costs and reduce taxes. Among the types of trusts are Living Trust, Testamentary Trust, Charitable Remainder Trust and Charitable Lead Trust.
NAP tax credits allow you to increase your charitable giving by directing dollars that would otherwise be paid in taxes to support programs at Victory Mission + Ministry. NAP can help you decrease your tax liability by 50% in the state of Missouri. Contact us to find out if you or your business is eligible to apply for a NAP tax credit.

Pray for Victory
At Victory Mission + Ministry, we believe in the power of prayer. We invite you to share God’s love to a brokenhearted world through prayer for restoration. We believe that the prayers of individuals, families, and other groups enable us to serve those who are hurting in our community.
- Pray for the many hurting men, women, and families who pass through Victory Mission seeking help each day.
- Pray that our residents will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and grow in their walk with Him.
- Pray that the men in our programs will achieve success in both their personal and professional lives.
- Pray that God will bless our many wonderful volunteers, and send new ones to help us continue serving our community.
- Pray that God will continue to touch people’s hearts to support the Mission both financially and with in-kind donations.
- Pray for God’s provision for a facility that we could use to house more women in need.
- Pray for God’s wisdom, compassion and blessings on our staff as we minister to those who need help.
- Pray that our Board of Directors would be led by the Lord as they provide leadership, guidance and discernment.
Share Your Prayer Needs
Each weekday morning, a group of key staff members meet to pray for our organization and community. If you have a special need that you would like us to pray for, please send an email to email@example.com.
