I have a lot to lose if this doesn’t work.
I have a baby on the way.
I can’t be the kind of father I had. I don’t want to be that kind of father. I have to get this right.
So when I got arrested with an outstanding warrant I was shocked. Honestly, I didn’t know. I had to spend a few nights in County. It was cool to see God use me in there. I was able to get out my Bible and read with the other guys in there. I guess there were about 14 other men huddled around as we read the Bible. God’s doing work here at Victory.
When the other guys in the program posted my bail, I couldn’t believe it. The friendship and love was incredible. I'm learning to be a better man. I'm growing so much. I used to run to drugs. My heart was broken for years and I had to give up and let God. I'm captured by God's love and his blessings.
There is a future for me if I keep trusting God…
