After a fight with his mom, Jacob left home at the age of 11. He lived on the streets, started doing drugs, and robbing people. Jacob met his children’s mom at the age of 19, and she became pregnant with their first child. In 2018, he ended up in prison for a first-degree robbery. After a year in prison, Jacob came to Victory Mission. He left the program and moved in with a girl, only to find himself using drugs again and back in prison. From there, he re-entered Victory’s Restoration Program. As a violent offender, Jacob believed he would never regain parental rights. Because of his progress while at Victory Mission, after a series of court dates, he began to have visits and phone calls with his kids. Today, he has full custody of his children.

The Restoration Program is a 12-18 month faith-based residential rehabilitation program designed to transform lives through a wholistic approach of developing five key areas of life: spiritual, personal, relational, vocational, and financial.
