Operation Hope Totes
Operation Hope Tote—an annual event to bring hope to our struggling neighbors through basic hygiene items—runs March 20-April 13, 2017. Daily items like toothpaste and shampoo are expensive and put a strain on already tight budgets for families working hard to pay rent, cover utilities and put food on the table. Help alleviate this burden by hosting a hygiene item drive.
Make Operation Hope Tote part of your family’s Easter celebration and fill Hope Totes for the Mission to distribute to homeless and struggling men, women and children in our community.
Here are three ways you can take part in Operation Hope Tote:
Fill a Hope Tote. Pick up a Hope Tote bag from our Ministry Center (1715 N. Boonville Ave) or email Becca Brotherton to request one. You may also use your own bags or boxes. Then purchase and fill the bag with any of the items needed (new and unopened, please) listed below and return to our Donation Center (700 W. Chase St) by April 13.
Items to consider collecting:
toothbrush & toothpaste · shampoo & conditioner · body wash & deodorant · hand & body lotion · razor & shaving cream · lip balm & hand sanitizer · hair brush & comb · sanitary pads and tampons · washcloths
2.Purchase the items from an online vendor and ship your donation to:

3.Hold a drive at your church, workplace, school or community group. Contact Becca Brotherton by email or call 417-864-2285 to request an Operation Hope Tote kit (includes multiple bags and fliers). Drop off your collection at our Donation Center by April 13. You may also use your own bags/boxes.
